Ballet Girls: Looking for all types and sizes for various characters. Seeking all vocal ranges, and must sing well.
Debbie: Mrs. Wilkinson’s daughter. Totally neglected by her mother. Has developed an acerbic
attitude like her mother in an effort to survive. Has boys on the mind and is totally in love w/ Billy but flirts the only way she knows how, with sarcasm.
Tracy Atkinson: Has been taking Mrs. W’s ballet class since she was 5, and for some reason, Mrs. W has never liked her. She is always bored since she has been taking the same class for so long, but she is still trying to get Mrs. W to like her and tries hard. Tracey has become more interested in eating pie than ballet class. She can’t stand Susan Parks.
Alison Summers: Looks up to the other girls in the class; and thinks they are all very good. She thinks Billy is weird and gross. She is the “youngest”. Vague and cute.
Keeley Gibson: Never pays attention and is very absent-minded / space cadet. She almost doesn’t know where she is half the time. She is mouthy, forgetful.
Julie Hope: Is very social and is always talking too much in Mrs. W’s ballet class. She can’t keep her mouth shut and is always annoying everyone around her.
Sharon Percy: Wants to become a Broadway star. She always tries her best in Mr.s W’s ballet
class. She is very competitive, especially with Tina. She will not let anyone get in her way of
becoming a star. She thinks very highly of herself and wants to be the best in the class.
Tina Harmer: Wants to become a Broadway star. She always tries her best in Mr.s W’s ballet class. She is very competitive, especially with Tina. She will not let anyone get in her way of becoming a star. She thinks very highly of herself and wants to be the best in the class.
Susan Parks: Extremely enthusiastic and loves Mrs. W’s ballet class. She can’t dance at all, but she always tries her hardest and has a positive attitude. She is extremely uncoordinated. She can’t stand Tracey Atkinson.
Angela Robson : A daydreamer and is constantly looking up at the ceiling, discovering all the pretty lights and things on the ceiling. Her mind is never in Mrs. W’s ballet class.
