Robert Miller of New Canaan, Connecticut, New York City and Vero Beach Florida, is a principal at Miller-Pomerantz Insurance & Financial Services of New York, a firm founded by his father, Sidney Miller, in 1951. The firm has thousands of clients, including a number of Fortune 100 companies. He is the past president (September 2011 to September 2012) of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA). In addition, he has served as a volunteer lobbyist to the insurance industry and played a pivotal role in fostering support within the industry for the Affordable Care Act. He is also the Vice Chair of the Emerson College in Boston’s Board of Trustees. Robert has been on the Summer Theatre of New Canaan Board of Trustees since 2005.
