The Summer Theatre DramaRamas
Award-Winning Theatre Program for Special Children!
Sing Dance and Act!
The award-winning DramaRamas program*
, entering its 12th year, provides performance opportunities for children ages 8-18 with special needs. Each summer, our cast of DramaRamas rehearse and perform with professional actors an abridged version of one of STONC's summer musical shows. Our professional actors and teaching staff will each mentor one child during rehearsals and performance to interpret and perform the roles. The DramaRamas (individually) will meet for a series of 90 minute in-person rehearsals on weekends (see schedule below) designated dates to learn the music, rehearse scenes and learn choreography and then perform the songs and scenes.
*The Summer Theatre of New Canaan's DramaRamas Program was honored with a special recognition award from the Connecticut Critics Circle!
